It meets my expectations. Works great out of the box. I recently upgraded to Windows7 and this product was listed as being compatible with the new OS. Have yet to experience any bugs. I use Adobe Acrobat to create documents from the scanner, so all I can really say is that the drivers are installed properly because my OS recognizes the scanner as being a scanner and captures documents I scan; Acrobat does whatever else I need to do.
